The container is securely parked at a dedicated container yard in Reno, NV (shared with Oscar & Joel). Prior to Burning Man, the container is prepped, staged, and loaded so your gear is ready for Black Rock City. After the burn, gear is packed back up and stored safely until next year.
This tier provides a full personal setup allocation: 1 Shiftpod or large tent space, up to 2 playa bicycles (or 1 e-bike), 1 mattress, and up to eight heavy-duty 27-gallon storage bins. It is designed as a complete solution for returning Burners.
The 'Our Personal Shit' tier requires a $250 one-time buy-in (which funds container locks and infrastructure upgrades) plus a $350 refundable security deposit alongside the $750/year rental fee. The deposit is fully returned when you exit the container clean and clear.
If you don't need a full tent/bike setup, you can rent container space per bin for $100 per 27-gallon bin per year. No buy-in fee is required. Bin-only storage is dropoff and pickup during container staging windows in Reno.
E-bikes require active care in cold Reno winters. For $185/year, your e-bike gets a dedicated slot, and a local team member periodically cycles and checks the battery health so it stays healthy and ready for playa.
Yes! Members with Personal Storage tier access get pre-burn shipping windows to ship gear directly to our Reno staging address before arriving in Nevada. Shipping windows and addresses are shared with confirmed members.
Post-burn gear dropoff, container repacking assistance, and laundry coordination options are available for container members during tear-down. Details are organized with the crew in our group chat.
Annual fees reserve your dedicated container space for the full season. Security deposits ($350) are 100% refundable upon exiting your space in clean condition. If your plans change before container staging, reach out to Joe as early as possible.
